Delegation can make or break the opportunity that you have to develop great leaders. A common issue that a lot of pastors have as they are delegating is that they do not understand what to delegate. Should you delegate big tasks or small tasks? Another problem that pastors face when it comes to delegation is that they realize that there is a need for more delegation, but there is nobody to delegate to. It can improve the leader who is delegated to, the person who is delegating, and the church as a whole. This will only happen if delegation occurs in a proper way. If you are not careful, delegation can create problems in your church that are hard to fix. Ultimately, one you have the people in place that you can delegate to, as well as an intentional approach to what and when you delegate, your church will grow.
