For a church leader who is actively engaged in advancing the Kingdom of God, there is a great amount of joy. There is nothing more rewarding than stepping into the calling that God has on your life. With that said, it can be easy to become attached to your role in ministry. While this is good to a certain degree, it is also important to understand how to transition from that role. After all, the church is ever-changing, and you must be adaptable. Leadership transitions in ministry can be difficult, but we are here to help you through them.
If you are constantly prioritizing God’s will and calling in your life, you can also be confident in the transitions he calls you to. The reality is, our position is not always fixed, but our God does not change. As leaders, we need to learn to be attached to the calling, rather than the position!
So, this begs the question: what do you do when the need for transition occurs? This is an appropriate question to ask yourself as transitions can be stressful. You have a lot to think about! Perhaps you are moving to a completely new position in your church. Maybe you are moving to a different part of the country! Whatever your transitional situation may be, we want to make sure you have the confidence to step into what God has for you.
