Do you think companies such as Apple or Microsoft became as big as they are without effective teams? The reality is, the intentionality placed on teams in any organization is crucial to its success. Now, we understand that your church is not a corporate entity, looking to win by making profit. However, while this concept of teamwork is helpful for the rest of the world, it is exponentially helpful in ministry as well. Core values for a ministry team is vital.
If you’ve been in ministry for any length of time, it has most likely become evident that team building is not easy. People flake out on you for various reasons. Maybe certain people don’t agree with various aspects of the vision. Perhaps you have had to deal with your fair share of disputes within teams that you’ve been a part of.
