Fear is something that we all face, whether you are a lead pastor, kids pastor, volunteers, or none of the above. Fear is especially prevalent in settings where the stakes are high. When you think about your ministry position, the weight of your calling can oftentimes create fear. Perhaps you struggle with fear mainly outside of your pastoral position. Perhaps your fear is more centered around finances or family. Regardless of where your fear comes from, we know that our help comes from the Lord. Here, we are taking a look at how you can overcome fear as a pastor.

It is important to realize that people who experience fear on a regular basis are not alone. Fear grips even the most strong-minded people. Fear can take over the positive influence you have on others. Fear can cause you to lose sight of the good things that God has placed in your life. With that said, it is obvious that the enemy would try to use fear to cause detriment to something as important as your calling! When you are gripped by fear, scared of what’s next, what do you do? How do you combat this feeling of fear?
