Do you know the difference between urgency and importance? This is a key concept that directly related to your effectiveness as a leader. The fact is, something that seems urgent, may not be of significant importance. It is imperative that you are able to systematically approach the things that you need to do, while managing the things that you cannot control.

The fact that life will inevitably throw curveballs at you seems like a daunting reality. The expectation for you to produce quality work in an efficient manner seems difficult. The good news is, you can systematically approach this problem in order to compensate when things are out of your control.

As you cast vision for your church, you want to create a culture that is responsive to that vision. The creation of that culture is dependent upon you being present and intentional. In order for this to occur, you must understand how to shape your leadership in a way that will allow you to prioritize the important, while maintaining control over your circumstances.
